What is this life if
There’s no drop of beer or whiskey,
Drugs and cokes thrown to the sea,
And lust is considered dirty.
If religion is discussed in bars,
And whores vanish from the streets.
If converted are the corrupting beasts,
Wearing the crucifix on their shirts.
If lions and leopards eat straw,
Serpents and scorpions suck candies.
If equality inspires the parties,
And justice becomes the sole law.
What is this life if
All wonderful dreams come true
And the sky is forever blue?
Blessed be those who belief!
